By working directly with communities we strive to provide access to a wide array of long-term menstrual products to ensure that every woman, young and old, has the best long-term sustainable solution that works for them.
Through ongoing workshops, research, and open conversations with women in Khayelitsha, we’ve found that reusable pads are a practical, affordable, and sustainable solution that works for many.
Each set costs R175 and includes:
→ 3 Super Dry Day Pads
→ 1 Long Night Pad
This set can last up to five years — meaning no need to buy another pad for half a decade.
At Mama Flo, we believe in informed choice. Periods are personal, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Cultural norms, living conditions, comfort, and stigma all play a role. That’s why we always offer both reusable and single-use pads — so each woman can choose what works best for her.
