We believe that EMPOWERED WOMEN, EMPOWER WOMEN.
That's why we create our Mama Flo ambassador programme, through creating a community of young leaders in various schools, we are able to help normalise periods, spread awareness of period poverty and help develop strategies to combat period poverty in and around South Africa
The Purpose & Mission of our Ambassadors:
- To be our “eyes and ears” in schools to ensure no girl has to ever worry about their period / ever worry about missing school whilst on their period; and
- Promote menstrual hygiene education in our communities; and
- Volunteer with Mama Flo at various events/workshops/ social media campaigns; and
- Bring ideas to Mama Flo as to how best we can assist the community; and
- Initiate our own Mama Flo events and bring proposals to the Mama Flo team; and
- Promote and install leadership skills
- Put out kick-ass young ladies into the world!
